Hochwasser
kann fast jeden betreffen, das haben wir im Sommer gelernt. Manchmal
kann man vorbeugen: Das Lahnauen-Projekt in Biedenkopf ist so ein
Beispiel.
Pfarrerin
Katharina Stähler spricht mit Matthias Schneider vom BUND Biedenkopf,
Breidenbach und Dautphetal. Er erzählt, wie das Projekt seinen Anfang
nahm, was gefährdete Weidetiere damit zu tun haben und was Furkationen
sind. Wie der Lahn die Möglichkeit gegeben werden musste, sich wieder natürlich zu verzweigen und welche Konsequenzen das in den vergangenen 15 Jahren hatte.
Und so erfahren wir, wie das im Hinterland ansässige und seit 1970 fast ausgestorbene Rote Höhenvieh hier wieder angesiedelt wurde – und damit auch, was die Rinder mit Hochwasser zu tun haben.
